About the Role
  • Client is highly skilled and self-sufficient Golang Developer .
  • This role offers the opportunity to work on a greenfield project that will redefine the travel and entertainment experience merging events, hotels, and local activities into one seamless platform.
  • You will collaborate with other talents and a cross-functional internal team to build scalable, modular, and optimized backend systems that power the company s new application. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver who thrives in autonomous environments and delivers high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang and Node.js.
  • Build scalable, modular, and reusable components for multi-team usage.
  • Develop optimized APIs and leverage microservices architecture for high performance.
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
  • Actively contribute to technical discussions and propose solutions for system scalability and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Golang.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and API development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional English communication skills (both spoken and written).
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
  • Experience in entertainment, travel, or large-scale distributed systems.
Offer Details
  • Contract Type: Long-Term Contractor (No benefits / paid leave)
  • Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
  • Time Zone: 6+ hour overlap with PST (Pacific Standard Time) required
  • Location: LATAM (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina)
